SS SRLS is a 20+ year Italian naval contractor. RINA-qualified crews trained in Italian tier-1 shipyard methodology. Ships built by skilled trades—crew capability supported by offshore-discipline coordination.
RINA-Qualified Welders: 8-12 years average major Italian yards. MAG/MIG full-penetration. Stainless 316L, aluminium 5083, high-tensile steel. Technical drawing interpretation, in-situ geometry adaptation.
Carpenters: 10-15 years naval block prefab and outfitting. Complex joinery, insulation packages, panel work. Yacht-grade finish standards applied to commercial vessel scope. Material selection (fire-rated, marine-certified).
Safety Certifications: PTW Supervisor credentials, MEWP/forklift operators, confined space quals. Offshore operations discipline (permit-to-work, LOTO, gas testing protocols). French worksite regulatory compliance.
Site Coordination: 16 years combined naval experience (10 years sea-going offshore + yacht operations, 6 years Italian shipyard production supervision and site management). Offshore critical-path discipline integrated with Italian production methodology.
Technical Standards: WPS methodology, IACS No.47 standard application, NDT-ready documentation. Material traceability, mil-certificate management. Classification society interface (RINA/Lloyds/DNV/BV).
Emergency Response: Unplanned work specialists—NC (non-conformities), DCM (design changes), owner defect remediation. Scope assessment within 24H of arrival. French-based operations center reduces response time.
Self-sufficient deployment — Equipment to execution
Installation of bow thruster protection grids on complex geometry. The raked and flared bow configuration required meticulous in-situ adaptation: oxy-acetylene torch trimming of all edges, progressive positioning using hoist systems on padeyes, centering and rotation according to technical specifications in the presence of owner representatives and yard markers. Final wire-feed welding to hull plating.
Workshop prefabrication of 2 structural modules for material loading platform extension. HEA 140x140x10 beams, angles 60x40x6 and 80x60x8. Module dimensions: 8500x2000mm. Components supplied by shipyard, assembly and wire-feed welding with full penetration performed by SS SRLS per WPS.
Plate replacement and structural inserts on hull plating and internal compartments. Work performed across various spaces: engine room, tanks, superstructures. Cutting, bevel preparation, in-situ fitting and full penetration welding per WPS with NDT controls.
Construction of 15m x 10m structural block for yacht extension project. Conversion from 90 to 100 meters in length. Complete prefabrication with structural integration, preparation for drydock insertion and junction to existing hull.
